University of Arizona Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits eligible position. The primary function of this position is to work in conjunction with the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance to administer the athletic department education and monitoring systems for NCAA and Pacific-12 Conference and Arizona Board of Regents regulations. An example of job duties includes, but is not limited to,:• Contribute to creating and maintaining institutional control in all aspects of NCAA, Pacific-12 Conference, and University of Arizona Athletics rules compliance• Prepare rules education materials and presentations to deliver via various mediums to coaches and staff, student-athletes, and other individuals as necessary• Design/adjust workflows in ARMS to incorporate all necessary departments within the athletics department to effectively monitor and streamline various processes and procedures• Oversee various monitoring systems and processes in the areas of recruiting, initial eligibility, awards & benefits, financial aid, playing & practice seasons, and personnel• Oversee the duties and performance of the Assistant Director of Compliance• Additional duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions•Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects•Meticulous attention to detail•Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor•Ability and desire to accurately perform detail-oriented tasks and work with basic office software and database programs•Competent with computer software, such as Microsoft Office, Internet, and e-mail•Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects •Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations•Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude
