Position Function

Perform duties as assigned within the Athletics health care program. Serve as the Head Athletic Trainer for the men’s basketball program.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree by date of appointment from an accredited college or university;

NATA

certification; Indiana Athletic Trainer State License or eligible for licensure.

Minimum Experience

At least two years of related experience.

Minimum Other

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Experience

At least three years of related experience; at least one year of related experience within a basketball program.

Preferred Other

Pre-Employment Screening

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the athletic trainer and have direct supervision for men’s basketball, as necessary on a daily basis. |

Provide athletic training services to men’s basketball, including travel and coverage for home/away events. |
