| Position Summary |
Assist in the development and implementation of all services related to academic planning, academic support, academic major and career counseling, academic monitoring, personal development and recruiting for student-athletes.
Duties/Responsibilities
| Duties/Responsibilities |
Monitor academic progress of student athletes, including weekly meetings with student-athletes, daily monitoring of class attendance, academic appointment attendance, and grades. Daily communication with students, coaches, instructors, administrators, parents, and guardians regarding students’ progress toward degree and eligibility. Weekly evening coverage. Participate in recruiting events, including evenings and weekends throughout the year.

Responsible for independent determination of all academic planning and support services for student-athletes in assigned sports. Solely responsible for ensuring students adherence to eligibility for UGA, College, UGAAA, SEC, and NCAA rules and requirements. Take advantage of opportunities to keep up with national industry trends.
