The Assistant Coach supports all facets of Creighton’s NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball program, contributing to on-court development, recruiting, and the day-to-day operations that keep a high-performing team running smoothly. Key Responsibilities - Assist with the planning and execution of practices, conditioning, strength training, and individual player development - Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes who fit Creighton’s academic and athletic standards - Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Athletics department and broader University community - Coordinate team travel logistics and assist with day-to-day program operations - Supervise and develop student workers and team managers - Scout opponents, break down film, and contribute to game-planning and in-game strategy - Support student-athlete academic progress, wellness, and personal development

Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - 3-5 years of related coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level - Demonstrated knowledge of basketball concepts, strategies, and NCAA rules and regulations - Proven recruiting ability and sharp eye for assessing athletic talent - Exceptional organizational skills and a professional presence in all settings - Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
