| Position Summary |
The Assistant Athletic Director – Creative Strategy will manage and supervise the daily operations, budget, and employees of UGAA’s Creative Services and Social Media team (Social Media, Creative Video, Creative Design, Photography, and Sport-Specific Creative units). This position will oversee all aspects of team performance and foster a culture of innovation to maintain its position as a creative leader.

- Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, marketing strategies, brand marketing, and visual communication principles.
- Knowledge of the Adobe Suite of products and applications.
- Knowledge of effective digital and social communication to elevate an athletics brand, generate revenue, and assist in recruiting.
- Knowledge of various marketing and communication theories, concepts, techniques, and strategies.
- Have a clear understanding of the University of Georgia’s brand (including messaging, traditions, audience, etc.).
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects under demanding deadlines.
- Ability to work well with a broad range of clients in order to identify and meet specific audience and client requirements.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
- Ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively for both scheduled projects and urgent requests.
- Ability to quickly pivot as strategic direction changes.
- Willingness to accept feedback and criticism.
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work effectively with campus clients and other designers.
- Excellent creative thinking skills; adaptability to new technology or communication avenues.

- Manages and supervises the daily operations and employees of UGAA’s Creative Services and Social Media team. (Social Media, Creative Video, Creative Design, Photography, and Sport-Specific Creative units).
- Leads the daily activities of the Creative Services and Social Media team, overseeing all aspects of team performance and fostering a culture of innovation to maintain its position as a creative leader. Establishes a framework to enhance content production efficiency while ensuring that quality standards are maintained at a high level.

- Implements processes and systems to meet the video, photo, and design needs of the UGAA’s programs and coaches.
- Work in partnership with the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Communications Team and Sports Programs on Creative Strategy to promote individual sports and execute the vision of the unit.

- Provides support to the Strategic Communications team to ensure consistency in messaging across departments while strengthening the brand of student athletes, UGAA, and the University of Georgia.

- Collaborates with the External Operations and Georgia Bulldogs Sports Marketing teams in creating strategies to enhance the in-venue experience and elevate the Georgia brand.
- Complies with all applicable national Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Southeastern Conference (SEC) regulations in the performance of job duties.
- Oversee and maintain the Creative Services and Social Media annual budget.
