Minimum Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of soliciting funds, development fundraising, or related experience, or, Master’s degree and three (3) years of soliciting funds, development fundraising, or related experience.

Special Conditions

The department is especially interested in candidates with high-level fundraising experience, specifically with major gifts, as well as experience working within a Division 1 Athletics Department.The department will begin screening candidates on December 21, 2023.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.Will require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, some holidays, and travel.

Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities

Identify, build relationships, and solicit gifts from major gift prospects with fundraising priorities including Tiger Leadership Circle, capital projects, and premium seating sales; manage donor portfolio of 125-150 donors; focus on solicitations of $75,000 and above.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist leadership in strategic oversight and management of Tiger Leadership Circle including assisting with the identification of new prospects, donor communication, and planning stewardship events.

Oversight of identification of new donor and premium seating prospects, developing processes to track proposals and gifts closed.

Management, planning, and execution of sport-specific giving including identification of prospects and communication with coaches.
