Ticket Operations
Responsible for the overall direction, management, and supervision of the Athletics Ticket Office.
- Receives and disperses funds, maintains records, and prepares financial reports.
Manages Ticket promotions, seat assignments, chargebacks, and ticket audits.
Oversees distribution of tickets to external outlets and contract vendors.
Build specific seasons, events, and price tables into the ticketing system, including price levels and ticket types.
Prepare internet sales for season and single tickets with mobile ticket capabilities.
Coordinate, assist and maintain ticket inventory and account for voided tickets, scrapped and unsold ticket stock for each season.
Prepare event batches for ticket sales, balance and deposit all funds received from ticket sales and other revenue streams.
Receives and records incoming revenues.
Prepares all departmental deposits.
Contact customer regarding balance due and denied credit card charges.
Handle ticket problems or issues that may arise for athletic events and any ticketed external events
Secure safes and ticket offices after work hours.
Creates and updates various databases used in preparation of management reports, season ticket holder(s), corporate sponsor(s), and other patron databases.
Manages graduate assistants, game day staff, and student assistants/interns.
Responsible for working Athletic events.
External Operations
Assist with the overall management and direction of the external operations units, including outbound ticketing efforts, community and campus engagement, and revenue generation. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Develop outbound ticket sales strategies to boost revenue and attendance.
Increasing revenue streams through sponsorships, ticket sales, licensing, merchandising, and other revenue opportunities.
Develop and execute plans to drive student attendance and enhance student life experiences.
Grow royalties through increased number of companies that are licensed to use the UNF brand.
Assist with the use of social media and new media initiatives to promote the Athletics Department, its programs and events, and its student-athletes. Assist with digital content creation and generating exposure for all 19 teams and 300 student-athletes.
Member of the Athletics external operations team which is responsible for the advancement of the Athletic Departments’ external affairs, brand awareness and enhancement, social media presence, and revenue generation.
The position will accept additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Athletic Director and/or designee.
Marginal Functions:
Active member of the Athletics' external operations team. Attend revenue generation meetings.
Departmental Requirements:
College Athletics experience is preferred. Graphic design experience is preferred. Ability to work as a member of a team with diverse personalities and backgrounds. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong computer background with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe software; ability to work with coaches, athletes, students and university administration to complete a wide variety of tasks; ability and willingness to work long hours and weekends when the job requires; must demonstrate a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations as it pertains to athletic department personnel.
Supervision Exercised:
Manage all Ticket Office staff, including graduate assistants, part-time employees, student assistants, and interns.
Supervision Received:
Visual, written, oral instructions given by the Associate Athletics Director of Revenue Generation & Community Engagement and Director of Athletics. The incumbent develops procedures for performing a variety of complex duties within established guidelines; has considerable freedom while the work is in process and receives instructions on new assignments.
Level of Public Contact:
Highly visible with fans and donors. Interacts often with fans and donors when selling tickets or handling customer concerns. Interacts with campus constituents regarding matters surrounding the Athletics Ticket Office Operations. Must maintain positive relationships with season ticket holders and fans.
Monetary Responsibility:
Responsible for managing ticket sales and its deposit and accountability. Responsible for all deposits for the Athletics Department. Manage Athletics Ticket operations within the allotted budget. Responsible for properly processing gifts in conjunction with Advancement Services.
Policy-making and/or Interpretation:
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes for the Athletic Ticket Office.
Program Direction and Development:
Plays an integral role in the advancement of the Athletic Ticket Office. Part of the external operations team responsible for enhancing the UNF brand and image.

Access to credit card and sensitive donor information as it relates to sales transactions. Donor records and files are confidential. The disclosure of this information could result in loss of faith by donors and jeopardize future income to the University.
