Mentor volunteer coaches, interns, etc. Partake in personal and professional development.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$43,000 - $46,000 annual salary

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree
   
2. Certification through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC certification) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS certification).
   
3. Prior experience in collegiate or professional strength & conditioning setting
   
4. Strong communication and organization skills.
   
5. Demonstrated commitment to a high degree of integrity and adherence to the University, NCAA, and Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations.
   
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multi-tasking environment, with a strong sense of principles and ethics in regard to the welfare of student-athletes
   
7. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours which include morning, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

1. Two (2) years collegiate experience.
   
2. Effectively build coach-athlete relationships and motivate intercollegiate athletes
   
3. Ability to design and implement comprehensive annual training plans to optimize athletic performance for each student athlete
   
4. Knowledge and experience in teaching on-field and weight room movement skills and identify technical deficiencies
   
5. Experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships with department staff and other athletic department personnel
