This Assistant Athletic Trainer position will be with the sport of Football, including day-to-day operations, practice/game coverage, and any required travel. Perform a variety of duties implementing the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes within the University of Nebraska Athletic Department under the supervision of the Chief Medical Director, Associate Athletic Director of Athletic Medicine, and Head Football Athletic Trainer. Professional Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in athletic training from a

accredited program. 2 years relevant full-time experience.

/Basic life support) necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
2 years or more experience as full-time, certified athletic trainer within

and/or professional athletics. Previous experience providing prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries to student athletes in a football setting.
