Job Summary: The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide overall support to the Columbia College athletic programs. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide assistance and support to the Head Athletic Trainer and Associate Head Athletic Trainer.
Columbia College is a member of the NAIA and the American Midwest Conference and has a staff that consists of 3 full time certified athletic trainers and 3 graduate assistant certified athletic trainers. https://columbiacougars.com/
This position involves assisting athletic training staff members with daily care of 350 student-athletes, practice and competition coverage the 20 NAIA sports (including travel), and other duties as assigned by the athletic training staff.
Individuals in this position will gain valuable work experiences in athletic training and sports medicine as well as improving their skills in documentation, communication, supervision, management of a health care facilities, and human relations.
