This position provides the opportunity to work with multiple sports for both men’s and women’s teams.
Serves as a liaison between the department and medical personnel, coaches, parents, and student-athletes
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cooperatively with medical staff and students;
Duties as assigned by head athletic trainer
This position is in a non-traditional working environment including mornings, nights and weekends with limited travel.
Assists with administrative duties such as medical documentation, completing insurance information, diagnostic procedures, supervising students, and drug testing.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collegial relationships. Must be flexible, collaborative, and have a positive attitude.

Qualifications:
Required:
Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) approved institution.
Must be eligible to apply for State of Michigan Licensure.
Must be NATABOC certified.
Must be CPR/First Aid Certified
Preferred:
2 years collegiate experience
Master’s degree
