Job Description:
MCLA is accepting applications for an Assistant Athletic Trainer opening to provide quality care for student-athletes, including sport preventive measures, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation.

Administrative Responsibilities
Any staff member who is found in violation of NCAA regulations shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedure and in accordance with the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, and a staff member may be suspended without pay or terminated if the coach is found to be involved in deliberate and serious violations of NCAA regulations.

This is a full-time (10-month Aug-May), benefits-eligible, position in the APA bargaining unit. Salary is $48,000 to $60,000.
MCLA will pay for some or all of the following: NATA membership, Licensure, CEUs, convention on a rotating basis.
MCLA employees are vested in the State Retirement System after 10 years of employment.
