Job Duties:
75% Prevent, provide acute treatment and rehabilitation for athletic injuries in student-athletes.
Major duties include:
20% Educate and supervise athletic training students including competency sign-offs. Cooperate with the Athletic Training Education Program administrative staff to assist with programs designed to educate and train future athletic trainers.
Management of all education and clinical skills for each athletic training student
Oversight of multiple athletic training students per semester
5% Execution of assigned administrative duties within Sports Medicine Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Entry level athletic training position. Experience at the Division I collegiate level preferred.
BOC Certification required; Colorado athletic training license or eligibility for license required; first-aid, CPR and AED certified.
Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Windows), communication, problem solving, management, supervisory and organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
