Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review appropriate medical records on each individual athlete regarding health, injury, and performance status.
2. Provide rehabilitation services to injured athletes.
3. Provide coverage for specific practices and varsity athletic competitions.
4. Effectively communicate injuries to athletes.
5. Communicate injury reports to coaching staff.
6. Evaluate student-athlete injuries and make all return to play decisions in collaboration with the head athletic trainer as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• NATA Certification
• Illinois Licensure

Physical Requirements

The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand

motion, handle, or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds.
