Primary responsibilities include:
Ensure positive relationships between the Athletics department and key stakeholders, to include alumni, local community, fans, parents, faculty, and other University constituents. This includes,
Development, production and execution of creative concepts for ticket sales of all sports in accordance with strategic plans, including printed, digital and video elements.
Coordinate and collaborate with the Deputy Athletics Director for External Operations and the Director of Communications & Creative Media on a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, to include cultivating fan engagement on all Colgate Athletics social media sites including, but not limited to, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.
Execution of effective marketing for promotions and events via all channels and media (e.g., colgateathletics.com, social media, print, electronic media) in collaboration with the Director of Communications & Creative Media.
Oversight of the athletic marketing budget. Must exercise independent discretion on all purchases and budgetary decisions for athletics marketing and fan engagement unit, as well as ticket sales and operations in alignment with divisional priorities and policies.
Assist the Deputy Athletics Director for External Relations in generating leads to assist in the cultivation of corporate sponsorships, and aid in the execution of partnership agreements in accordance with overall corporate partner strategy.
As directed, required to effectively support athletics fundraising efforts.
Additional supervisory responsibilities include:
Role model positive behaviors and leadership for student-athletes, coaches and staff and maintain personal compliance with all relevant governing bodies to include: NCAA, specific conference, athletic department, and university policies

This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA), in accordance with the federal statutory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Act. CSAs are required to and responsible for reporting allegations of crimes they receive from students and employees to the Campus Safety Department.

- Two or more years of collegiate athletics, professional sports, or other comparable marketing and/or fan engagement experience

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Five or more years of collegiate athletics, professional sports, or other comparable marketing and/or fan engagement experience
- Previous experience in direct supervision of assigned staff, which may include student interns and workers
- Previous experience as a sport administrator for a NCAA varsity sport program

A Bachelor’s degree is required
A Master’s degree is preferred
