This position is responsible for daily operation of broadcast and streaming events, assisting with the engineering of University facilities involving the NESCom engineering team as well as teaching a 6 credit load per semester. This position reports to The Director of Operations for the College of Business.
Examples of Duties
Essential Functions:
Planning and management of all University broadcast events including the streaming of NESCom Mobile Productions, awards ceremonies, athletic contests, media camp, and off-campus based shows.
Planning, design, scheduling, acquisition, for NESCom facilities and equipment in conjunction with other relevant faculty, staff and the Director of Operations.
Supervision of projects for NESCom Productions and events using NESCom facilities and equipment.
Planning for and Supervision of facility and equipment maintenance used to produce and stream event contents.
Coordination with other University operations such as IT, Athletics and the Gracie Theater for AV systems.
Budgeting for NESCom Productions operations and capital in conjunction with relevant faculty, staff and Director of Operations.
Oversight of the work study staff, NESCom Productions, in conjunction with other relevant staff.
Producing for all Live events including school visits and special events.

Assist as the Equipment Distribution Center engineering liaison for equipment repairs.
Teaching (annual course load of up to 12 credits).
Additional Responsibilities:
Gathering data and preparing detailed documents of facility wiring.
Assisting with Equipment Distribution Center staff coordination.
Representing the School off campus when appropriate.
Performing other duties as assigned by the administration.
Typical Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Academic credentials that meet requirements for the school
Administrative experience or evidence of leadership qualities
Excellent communication skills
Desirable Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
Understanding of broadcast production systems, planning, and assessment processes. Photoshop, After Effects, compositing.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in communications required, Master's preferred.
Experience:
At least 3 years of work experience in field of study under the purview of the school. Experience in a production supervisor required.
