ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH

Brescia University, a small Catholic Liberal Arts University located in Kentucky is searching
for an Assistant Baseball Coach to support the head coach with the overall operation of the
baseball program. The position will assist with the coordination of the varsity student
athlete’s recruitment process including making player recommendations.

Qualifications are:

• High School graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred in sports related

discipline

• 1 year of experience as player or coach at collegiate, club or high school level
• Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable by Brescia insurance.
• Effective communication skills

• Responsible for the players’ performance in the classroom and for the behavior

of the team during games;

• Organize activities and athlete training, analyze performance, and instruct athletes

with game strategies and techniques;

• Assist Head Coach with the recruiting process
• Responsible for scheduling and conducting team practices and game travel,

maintaining budget, supplies, and equipment.
