Qualifications
Essential knowledge, skills and abilities:
A Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated effectiveness playing and/or coaching baseball is required. A Master’s degree, college coaching experience and/or participation at the collegiate level are preferred.
Required qualifications include: excellent organization, oral and written communication skills, an appreciation for the philosophy of the NCAA Division III, strong program management skills, the ability to recruit and retain qualified and talented student athletes, a demonstrated commitment to students’ athletic and academic success, the demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and retain a diverse, inclusive, successful team with sensitivity to individuals of all cultural backgrounds, and the capacity to be a visible and engaging leader.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an appreciation for the mission and value of a public liberal arts college, be self-directed and motivated, work with integrity, and bring skills and abilities needed to advance Cougar baseball, the athletic programs, and the University.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $31,010-$32,500 annual salary, depending on education/qualifications/experience,
also this position carries the comprehensive benefit package and the opportunity for an on-campus housing package.
Time Appointment: 75% Appointment,10-month, annually renewable coaching appointment.
