Assistant Coach
Apply NowProvide assistance, supervision, and organization of the football program as an assistant coach. In addition to the assistant coaching position, this position will serve as an event management and planning position working within the athletic department, including scheduling and supervision of hourly employees, scheduling transportation for all teams, coordinating summer camps, and serving as event manager for athletic events.
Essential Duties:
Assist with coaching and recruiting for the football program
Knowledge of and compliance with all rules and changes that occur in the sport of football
Knowledge of, and compliance with,
NCAA
rules and regulations concerning recruiting and eligibility. Violation of
NCAA
and
RMAC
rules is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment
Set-up Chadron State College campus visits for athletes
Schedule and supervise student hourly workers for athletic events.
Work with coaches to schedule transportation for all teams.
Serve as an event management/planning position administering home athletic events and special events, including game setup.
Coordinate athletic summer camps and events with conference services, facilities, and food service.
Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisors

The physical requirements for this position may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the ability to use a computer, calculator, telephone, keyboard, and/or various types of office equipment. Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats and satisfactorily perform the functions of this position. Some lifting of equipment may be required.
