| Job Summary/Basic Function: |
SUNY Potsdam is seeking a Head Coach for the Women’s Club Rugby team for the 2024-25 college year. This is a part-time position.
Club rugby has a long running tradition on campus and is open to all interested students. The successful candidate will be responsible to exhibit positive, professional leadership for all club rugby players with a goal of providing a safe, rewarding rugby team experience.

| Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job: |
- Ability to teach the game of rugby and provide positive mentoring to all club members.
- Ability to teach the game of rugby and provide positive mentoring to all club members.
- Emphasize that club leadership and members adhere to all SUNY Potsdam, SGA, Club Sport, and campus compliance policies.
- Oversee and direct all aspects of coaching, practice planning, and game strategy.
- Communicate with club members, SGA, Club Sports Director, and Maxcy Hall facility director for all team meeting, practice, and game campus facility reservations.

| Required Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s degree
- Current (or pending) Level 1 Rugby Coaching Certification (through National Collegiate Rugby – NCR)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work nights and some weekends

- Prior rugby coaching and/or playing experience.
