High Point University’s Athletic department is seeking a Director of Player Development. This assistant coach position will develop, execute, and manage programming, events, and initiatives to support student-athlete development in the High Point University Athletics’ Women’s Basketball Program. This position will play an integral role in development and enhancement of the student-athlete experience and will have direct oversight over the program’s community outreach initiatives. They will also provide in the assistance and development of players’ skills on the court.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
Knowledge of NCAA Division I Athletics and specifically basketball.
Must be proficient in the technical knowledge of the sport.
Confident and capable of mentoring student-athletes in managing academic, athletic, and social responsibilities.
Must also possess strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reports to Head Coach of Women's Basketball.
