Assist baseball coaching staff in game preparations
Comply with the mission and vision of Wheaton College; adhere to all College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and NCAA rules and regulations
Assist in scouting of opponents and preparation of scouting reports for the team

Secondary Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership
Encourage and develop personal relationships with student-athletes
Encourage a holistic environment for the well-being of student-athletes
Serve as a consistent role model and resource for student-athletes
Administrative Leadership
Assist the head coach in administrative duties as needed
Assist the head coach with planning/budget, team meals during away games, and team transportation.
Assist head coach in all aspects of the recruiting process including evaluation of prospects, visit coordination, and ongoing recruiting communication (i.e. calls/texts/mailings)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree;
3-5 years collegiate playing experience;
Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes on and off of the baseball field;
Excellent communication skills;
A commitment to the values of NCAA Division III athletics and Christ-centered education;
Strong organizational skills;
Competency in MSOffice computer programs
