Primary Function: The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in the leadership and organization for all aspects of the Esports program, including monitoring both the academic and social development of the student-athletes, observing, evaluating, and recruiting student-athletes, and developing a schedule for competition. The Assistant Coach is responsible for following the University’s coaching guidelines and expectations including the rules and regulations of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE).

Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to represent the interests of the University in a professional manner.
Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
Ability to supervise assigned staff.
Ability to motivate and contribute to building a positive and productive team.
Requires the ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality in the handling of student’s academic records and health information.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record to be insured by the University’s insurance carrier.
