4. Assist football program within the rules, policies and procedures of Wayne State College, NSIC, and the NCAA.
   
5. Assist the head coach with coaching, recruiting, administration and overall implementation of the intercollegiate football program.
   
6. Assist head coach with overseeing and monitoring student-athlete academic success and eligibility.
   
7. Provide leadership and oversight with program compliance of NCAA rules and regulations
   
8. Assist head coach with the development, coordination and implementation of practice plans, strategies and coaching techniques.
   
9. Assist head coach with the coordination and implementation of sports camps and leagues.
   
10. Responsible for the designing, planning, implementation, coordination and decision-making of all special teams football strategies and operations.
    
11. Assist with overseeing all football recruiting, planning and coordination.
    
12. Assist in promotion, fundraising and public relations activities for the Wayne State College Athletic Department as required.
    
13. Other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach or the Director of Athletics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus coaching experience. Must have knowledge of NCAA or NAIA (as applicable) rules and regulations.
• Assistant Coaches with teaching assignments are required to have a Master’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• Five years’ experience of coaching experience at the NCAA Division II level (or above)

Salary Information

Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Attractive and comprehensive benefit package. Annual salary range $42,257-$52,821.
