- Promote and support Wayne State College Athletic Department’s program mission and goals.
- Assist women’s basketball program within the rules, policies and procedures of Wayne State College, NSIC, and the NCAA.
- Assist the head coach with coaching, recruiting, administration and overall implementation of the intercollegiate women’s basketball program.
- Assist head coach with overseeing and monitoring student-athlete academic success and eligibility.
- Provide leadership and oversight with program compliance of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Assist head coach with the development, coordination, and implementation of practice plans, strategies, and coaching techniques.
- Assist head coach with the coordination and implementation of sports camps and leagues.
- Assist in promotion, fundraising, and public relations activities for the Wayne State College Athletic Department as required.
- Other duties assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach or the Director of Athletics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus coaching experience. Must have knowledge of NCAA or NAIA (as applicable) rules and regulations.
- Assistant Coaches with teaching assignments are required to have a Master’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree – Required for teaching assignment.
• Three years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division II level (or higher)

Salary Information
Competitive, commensurate with qualifications & experience. Attractive & comprehensive fringe benefit package. Salary range is $42,257- $52,821.
