The Assistant Coach, Football is a full-time, 10.5-month position responsible to the Head Coach, Football. Tyler Junior College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and home to 70 National Championships.
The Athletics department at Tyler Junior College plays an integral role in the success of student-athletes and is widely recognized as one of the premier two-year intercollegiate athletic departments in the nation.

Work Environment: Regular work required outside of normal business hours. Mostly outdoor conditions.

Travel Required: Yes - Moderate
If travel is required, the candidate must have and maintain a current, valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Required Experience
Two years of previous coaching experience
Preferred Experience
Previous college work experience
Additional Job-Specific Requirements
Must complete driver training through TJC
