Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
A minimum of four years (or the equivalent) as a collegiate football coach.
Successful background as a high school coach.
TRAINING TIME
Six months to one year to perform all job-related duties with minimum supervision.
DUTIES AND OTHER JOB RELATED ACTIVITIES
Ability to lead coaches as well as student-athletes.
Possess strong interpersonal/relational skills and an ability to relate to college-age students.
Ability to work with and support other coaches, faculty and volunteers to build theSEU community into one that always seeks to bring all glory to Jesus Christ.
Understanding of Christian world and life view as it relates to all parts of college life.
Thorough understanding of training and competition techniques and methods.
Understanding of safety and first aid.
Working conditions are typically outdoors and may include cold and wet environments.
Knowledge of the basic principles of teamwork and supervision.
This position requires work hours after normal business hours to conduct practices and flexible hours in regard to competition and travel.
Position requires excellent professional judgment and commitment to the highest ethical standards.
