Responsibilities:

Assistant coach responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in all facets of building a successful NCAA DIII Program
• Coaching a position
• Assist in defensive game planning and practice planning
• Special Teams coaching duties (possible Coordinator duties)
• Recruiting assigned territory
• Other duties assigned by Head Coach and Athletic Director

Qualifications

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required); a master’s degree is preferred. Also required are previous coaching experience (collegiate preferred); a clear understanding of NCAA III philosophy and the student-athlete experience; ability to recruit in Indiana and contiguous states; ability to work as a part of a team environment; a demonstrated commitment to the Anderson University mission and Christian lifestyle. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a diverse student body, faculty and staff, effective problem solving skills and personal initiative.
