The Assistant Coach, Football will aid the head coach in providing leadership and organization of the NCAA Division II program at Roosevelt in compliance with all NCAA and Great Lakes Collegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) rules and regulations.
This role will fill an open Quarterback and/or Wide Receiver position group assignment and take on potential duties as Pass Game Coordinator or Offensive Coordinator based on experience and qualifications. Other general responsibilities of the Assistant Coach include, but are not limited to, practice planning and assessment, supervision of practices and competitions, individual student-athlete instruction and evaluation, academic mentorship, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, and assistance with team travel.
Please note that the location(s) for this full time, exempt, on campus position include Chicago and Arlington Heights.

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000

Basic office equipment (desktop computer, copier/ multi-function device, fax and telephone).
The assistant coach will work in multiple environments, indoors and outdoors, including areas for team practice, competition and recruiting, in addition to an office setting. The schedule will include nights and weekends and travel with team for competitions, as well as for prospective student recruitment and other duties as assigned.
