Job Summary:

Recruiting and evaluation and contact of prospective student-athletes. Coaching of student-athletes. Public Relations and Fund-raising. Administrative Responsibilities.

Travel is required in the performance of this position: Nationally and occasionally out of the country for recruiting, coaching, and fund-raising. Work schedule varies. Practice times often occur or continue after 5:00 pm and on weekends. Also, several evenings per week scouting, recruiting, etc. Official visits are often on weekends. Matches are often on weekends.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Coaching or a related field.

In lieu of Bachelor's degree, two years of experience in coaching golf or playing of collegiate or professional golf.

Excellent managerial abilities; ability to manage multiple work priorities simultaneously; ability to work in a highly self-motivated manner and motivate others.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Physical Education/Coaching or a related field.

NCAA Division I golf experience.
