The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Coach to provide direct and independent coaching of student-athletes who compete in Division I, NCAA Women’s Lacrosse for the University of Florida. This position is responsible for promoting academic excellence as well as the assessment and recruitment of prospective student-athletes which includes creating individualized development plans for each student-athlete and contributing to overall game and match plans. Other responsibilities include media relations, inventory and purchasing, facilitating team meetings, budget line-item management, and other administrative duties as assigned. This position does not receive an employment contract. Employment is at-will.

Organized individual with strong administrative, interpersonal, and computer skills
Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds and with high energy, intense personalities
Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and extensive overnight travel
Experience coaching at the intercollegiate or professional level
