Talladega College is searching for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join us as the Assistant Soccer Coach!
About Talladega College Athletics:
Talladega College Soccer competes in the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) of the NAIA. Other sports compete in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC), recently rebranded as the HBCU Athletic Conference.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is required.
A minimum of 1-3 years of previous soccer coaching experience.
Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies, and rules.
Knowledge of the evaluation and assessment of student-athlete skills and abilities.
Knowledgeable in film evaluation techniques and software as well as editing.
Ability to identify and successfully recruit talented prospective studentathletes for the sport of soccer.
Ability to motivate and empower team members.
Initiative to solve problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills to effectively connect with student-athletes, coaching staff, and university stakeholders.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Commitment to the academic success and personal development of studentathletes.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by the position.
Preference will be given to candidates with college women and goalkeeper coach experience, and collegiate playing experience.
