The Assistant Coach, Men's Basketball, supports the head coach in key aspects of the program, including recruiting, on-court instruction, player development, scouting opponents, and game preparation. Responsibilities also include supporting student-athlete academic success, coordinating team travel logistics, assisting with equipment management, and ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies.

Assist in preparing and organizing daily practice sessions and game preparation for championship and non-championship segments
Assist with the recruitment of prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA, SIAC, University System of Georgia, and Albany State University policies and procedures
Support the monitoring of student-athlete academic progress and overall development
Assist with team travel coordination and equipment management
Assist in the supervision of interns, graduate assistants, and student workers
Support the implementation of program goals and objectives
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree.
Two years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
Master's degree.
Experience coaching men's basketball at the NCAA Division II level.
