Intercollegiate Athletics
Reporting to the Head Men’s Golf Coach, the Assistant Coach will be responsible for assisting in all phases of a Division I Intercollegiate Men’s Golf program including, but not limited to:
Promoting the philosophy and objectives of the University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, including adhering to all Departmental, University, SEC and NCAA rules and regulations.
Demonstrate the ability to relate to, and motivate, student-athletes and to work with a variety of university staff, alumni, and the outside community.
Assisting in development of the overall student-athlete experience by mentoring student-athletes, including evaluating their performance in practice and competition while providing leadership and instruction in areas of deficiencies as required.

Assisting with evaluation of prospective student-athletes, implementing recruiting strategy, on-campus visits, off-campus evaluation and visits at the direction of the Head Coach.
Participating in the collection and analysis of tactical and statistical data of competition golf courses and tournaments, golf course strategies, and tournament strategies.
Performing other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach and/or the assigned sport administrator or Director of Athletics.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in off-campus recruiting, budgeting, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, expertise in social media, in addition to strong leadership abilities.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications: Three years of prior coaching experience in a NCAA or NJCA Golf Program.
