The Assistant Coach, Men’s Soccer will assist the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a competitive
NCAA
Division I Men’s Soccer program that competes at the highest level. Responsibilities include recruiting, scouting, coaching, travel coordination, program administration, fundraising and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach, Men’s Soccer will develop and maintain effective interaction with students, colleagues, university staff, alumni and the general public. , Conference, and University rules and regulations as well as dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience:
Minimum of two years coaching experience, soccer operations experience or four years playing experience at the collegiate or professional level.
Preferences:
Master’s degree.
Strong communication, organizational, administrative and computer skills along with a United States Soccer Federation (
USSF
) National B license or equivalent is preferred.

The scope of the position requires weekend and evening work (non-standard work hours) as well as some travel. While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such telephones, copy machines, fax machines, etc. Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events; frequently communicates via telephone, email and in-person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
