Description

Position Purpose: Provide support to the head and assistant coach, primarily at Carnival races. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• Coach the technical and tactical aspects of the sport in practices and competitions. 

• Mentor and support student-athletes in practices and competitions. 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: 

• Long and irregular hours, including early morning, nights and weekends. 

• Long hours in practice that may demand physical exertion on skis. 

• Extensive travel for competitions.

Requirements

Position Prerequisites: 

• Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred. 

• Experience skiing and coaching at the collegiate level preferred. 

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of constituents through strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
