Assistant Volleyball Coach

The position of Assistant Volleyball Coach primary responsibilities includes, but are not limited to, training student-athletes, recruiting, scheduling, assisting with team travel, equipment management, and working with the head coach in directing all phases of a Division I program, including organizing and supervising all practices and games.Â

Education:

• Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

Applicants should be able to demonstrate effectiveness in coaching college level players, good supervisory skills, and the ability to relate to students in a leadership role. Understanding of student athletes in a challenging academic environment and a commitment to the highest ideals of leadership, sportsmanship, and academics are required.Â
Applicants must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good organizational skills. Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office, and the ability to quickly learn and work with new computer software systems. Field coaching experience and video editing skills are preferred, and applicants must be able to work independently and as part of a team.Â
