The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an Assistant Coach, Softball.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

The Assistant Coach, Softball position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all day-to-day operations of the softball team at Georgia State University.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Recruitment and talent evaluation of student-athletes.
• Coaching, training and development of student-athletes within the team concept.
• Monitoring of student-athletes' academic progress and personal development.
• Budget creation and management.
• Tournament and practice scheduling.
• Supervision of Assistant Coaches or graduate assistants.
• Adherence to Georgia State University, NCAA, Sun Belt Conference rules and policies.
• Development and Fundraising responsibilities to raise funds for the department and Softball program along with engagement of softball alumni.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures is required.
