Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Performance with the training for strength development, injury prevention, education, nutrition and recovery guidance for student-athletes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred.
Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa).
Knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology.
Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
A commitment to the overall wellbeing of student-athletes.
A commitment to integrity, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple iniatives.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software.
Experience in a Division I program preferred.
License or Certification: AED and CPR Certification required upon hire.
