Job Description:
Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the positions of Assistant Coach, Sports Performance - Olympic Sports / Education Support Specialist II (T0027 & T0028). As an Assistant Sports Performance Coach for Olympic Sports, you will play a key role in an elite Division I department who values the total student-athlete experience. You will gain valuable on and off-field experience that will prepare you for future growth opportunities. Primary job responsibilities will be the design, implementation, and scheduling of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for 3-5 sports teams as assigned by the Director of Sports Performance.

These are part-time, temporary wage, non-exempt positions in a pay band 3. Commonwealth of Virginia benefits do not accompany these positions. A successful criminal background investigation is required. AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, and other national service alumni are encouraged to apply.
