Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.
Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary |
Assist the head coach with comprehensive responsibilities associated with Chapman University’s Cross Country and Track & Field programs. Duties include coaching, teaching, recruiting, fundraising and other duties as assigned in support of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Flexible schedule and some travel may be required. Successful candidate is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Chapman University, the SCIAC conference and NCAA.

Serve as the assistant coach to the Track and Field Program

| Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two or more years of coaching experience at NCAA Division II or III level
- Experience competing as an athlete at the college, university, Elite Club, or Professional level.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to NCAA Division III rules and regulations.

- Experience in providing administrative/business support in a professional office.
