Job Description

Notre Dame Athletics develops and challenges each student-athlete to pursue excellence and serve as a force for good in the world. Our vision is to lead collegiate athletics by defining the integrated student-athlete experience and forming champions. To do this, we are eager to attract, recruit, develop and retain individuals who positively contribute to a collaborative, connected culture where all may thrive.

The Assistant Coach plays a key role in advancing a Division I, nationally competitive Women’s Volleyball program. Working in close partnership with the Head Coach, this position contributes to recruiting, player development, practice execution, and day-to-day program operations, all in compliance with NCAA and University guidelines.

This role actively supports recruiting efforts through prospect correspondence, database management, and on- and off-campus evaluations, including attendance at tournaments and recruiting events. The Assistant Coach provides meaningful input on recruiting strategy and athlete selection.

On the court, the Assistant Coach helps design and run dynamic practices, delivers technical instruction, and provides real-time and video-based feedback to support student-athlete growth. Collaboration with the Head Coach is central to assessing performance, identifying areas for improvement, and building competitive strategies.
