Provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach. Oversee one or more specified areas of a sporting discipline or a component of a team and assist the Head Coach with all aspects of recruitment and training of athletes.
Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience specific to the sport.
Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered
Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the specified sports program.
Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Familiarity of athletic recruitment methods and techniques.
Ability to guide student-athletes in area of specialty.
Ability to initiate, develop and maintain appropriate contacts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability to identify athletic skill levels of potential student athletes

Travel is a significant component of the position (greater than 25%)
Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use
Expected hiring range:
$15.50 per hour plus available taxable housing
The expectation is that the incumbent will work 39 hours each week, on average, between August 16 and May 15 each year. The incumbent will be eligible to participate in health, retirement, and other benefits, including paid time off. This position comes with year-round housing. Kindly note that the value of the rent is taxable.
