Quinnipiac University's Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Assistant Coach - Women's Basketball to assist the Head Coach with program management including coaching, administration, coordination and recruitment of a collegiate Women’s Basketball program. In this role, you will focus on the total development of the basketball student-athlete.

Apply NowAssist the Head Coach in managing and directing the basketball program
Assist with team planning, including training, coaching, competing and scheduling
Assist in strategic plan for recruiting both domestically and internationally
Coordinate year long Bobcat Challenge effort with development, team, alumnae, fans and family
Head of DEI monthly team initiatives
Maintain adherence and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and university policies
Other duties, as assigned
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's degree preferred
Proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills, computer skills
The ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the national basketball community
Ability to manage a 2-3 hour practice
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work nights and weekends
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
Previous successful women’s basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college level
Experience in recruiting
Experience with the administration and coordination of a collegiate women’s basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete
