Our division is comprised of leading student affairs experts who support our campus on pressing student life matters including public service, health, wellness, social justice, residential living, food services, sports, recreation, career services, and student activities and organizations including sorority and fraternity life. The Assistant Coach for Women’s Lacrosse assists the Head Coach in the planning and operation of the women’s lacrosse program at Cornell University. The candidate is expected to assist the head coach in the day-to-day administration of a Division I intercollegiate women’s lacrosse program. Duties include, but are not limited to: budgeting, equipment ordering, compliance paperwork, video editing, practice planning and game preparation, on field player instruction, leadership development, scouting, alumni communication, team travel, and camps and clinics. Candidate will identify, encourage and evaluate prospective student athletes and help facilitate application and acceptance at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies. This position will play a key role in the development of our program’s culture and identity as we strive for Ivy League titles and National Championships.

This is a full-time, 11-month position. Starting 11-month salary is  $60,000-$68,000 for this position. There is not visa sponsorship available for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with up to 2 years lacrosse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Credentials should reflect proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting and in working with student-athletes.
  • A highly motivated individual with an outstanding work ethic who takes pride in being a relentless recruiter.
