Student and Campus Life (SCL) inspires transformation in all Cornell students on their journey of individual, academic and personal evolution. Our division is comprised of leading student affairs experts who support our campus on pressing student life matters including public service, health, wellness, social justice, residential living, food services, sports, recreation, career services, and student activities and organizations including sorority and fraternity life. We provide support and services to roughly 25,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on multiple campuses in the U.S. and abroad.

The Assistant Coach for Women’s Sailing supports the Director of Cornell University Sailingin the planning and operation of the Women’s Sailing program at Cornell University. This includes assisting with team practice and competitions and providing input on player evaluation and other decisions concerning team operations. In addition, the Assistant Coach will actively support the scouting of opponents and the breakdown of our own performances. The Assistant Coach also has both on- and off-campus recruiting responsibilities, to identify, encourage and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the head coach. This position also assists with team travel, home regatta management, budgeting, and scheduling.

This is a full-time, 10-month position. Starting pay is $51,700-$54,290 for this position; final offer will depend on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
