The Bearcats have a proud athletics history, winning eight national championships and 117 conference titles. The Cincinnati men's basketball team is among the 15 winningest programs all-time, while the football team became the first American Athletic Conference program to compete in the College Football Playoff in 2021. Olympic gold medalist volleyball player Jordan Thompson, NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson and Major League Baseball legend Sandy Koufax are among the several luminaries who have competed as Bearcats.
UC student-athletes collectively posted a 3.4 overall GPA in the spring of 2023, resulting in 11 consecutive semesters of a 3.3 department GPA or higher.

The University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Assistant Coach in the Women’s Soccer program. As many as two positions may be filled with one being a full-time position, salaried, with a comprehensive benefits package. And the second position being a term contractual position, part-time and not benefit eligible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for several administrative and organizational aspects of coaching, recruiting, and competition while following University of Cincinnati and departmental policies, NCAA Division I, and Conference bylaws and regulations. The position requires some evening and weekend hours and travel with the team.
The ideal candidate will have Goalkeeping experience, but goalkeeping experience is not required to apply, a knowledge of intercollegiate athletics rules and regulations of athletics associations and conferences including eligibility, recruiting, and certification. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a background working in sports science with a focus on player health, safety, and performance.

Instead, UC employees have the option to contribute to a state retirement plan (OPERS, STRS) or an alternative retirement plan (ARP).
