This position has a budgeted hiring rate of $40,512. The position is classified as A1. The A1 salary band for all full-time, 12-month positions at the college with this classification have a minimum rate of $35,620 and a maximum rate of $51,292. For benefit purposes only, the workweek is estimated to be 35 hours per week. The actual schedule for exempt positions may vary based on the workload and responsibilities assigned. This is an 11-month position.

Job Description:
Assist the head coach in all aspects of the program including organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition, among other responsibilities. Support the head coach in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes Supervise student managers and student athletes. Assist with program administration and budget oversight. Assist the head coach with the student-athlete academic success. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the director of athletics.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all efforts at the direction of the Head Women's soccer coach.
Assist in the planning, organize and execution of all practices
Assist in coordinating all strength and conditioning efforts in-season and off-season.
Attend and participate in all practices and contests.
Assist in game/practice preparation, including film breakdown sessions; development of game plans and scouting reports related to each contest..
Monitor and support academic progress of team members .
Recruit qualified student athletes for successful participation.
Pass the NCAA Rules Test
Adhere to all applicable policies and regulations including but not limited to the NCAA, The Centennial Conference, McDaniel College, and McDaniel Athletics
Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Designated as a "mandatory reporter", otherwise known as a Campus Security Authority, to report any information about potential, active or previously occurring crime(s) on campus as defined through federal regulation to the Department of Campus Safety immediately upon learning about them.
Information Security Role: Data User
Follow the policies and procedures established by the appropriate Data Stewards.
Comply with federal and state laws and regulations as well as College policies, procedures, and standards associated with the College computing resources and institutional data used.
Use institutional data only as required for the conduct of college business within the scope of employment.
Implement safeguards prescribed by appropriate Data Stewards for Limited Access and Restricted Data.
Ensure the appropriateness, accuracy, and timeliness of institutional data used for the conduct of college business.
Report any unauthorized access, data misuse, or data quality issues to the appropriate Data Steward for remediation.
Accept and complete the confidentiality statement yearly if access includes Restricted data.
Report any suspected data breach to the CIO and the IT Help Desk as soon as possible.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Previous college and/or professional level coaching required
Bachelor's Degree required.
Strength and Conditioning Certification preferred
Successful collegiate recruiting experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong, detail-oriented, organizational skills
Computer proficient and knowledgeable in Frontrush, Microsoft, Hudl, and other platforms,
A strong knowledge and experience working with athletes, teams and programs
A self-motivated leader/worker
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, coaching staff, student athletes, vendors, alumni, and general public
Ability to manage and supervise staff including training, scheduling, and evaluating
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a flexible work week schedule including evenings and weekends
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as instructions, manuals, rulebooks, safety rules, policy standards, student timecards and memos.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence for varied campus groups.
Ability to speak effectively, present information one-to-one and in small group situations.
Have a valid driver's license with two or less points.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely working in an athletic complex with some exposure to adverse conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Abilities/Physical Characteristics
This position requires the ability to lift, pull, push, and move objects in weight up to 50lbs regularly. Some time is spent performing manual labor. Specifically, this position requires the following.
Ability to work in noise, heat, cold, odors, dirt, outdoor temperatures, snow.
Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 80lbs without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching above the head, the waist, and below the knees. Must be able to bend at the knees.
Ability to repetitively push and pull equipment (for example, goals, hand truck, uniform bins ?) containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods to complete job activities including walking outside to all athletics facilities and back (up to three miles/day).
Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday.
