The Assistant Coach for Women’s Wheelchair Basketball supports the head coach in the coordination and delivery of a competitive adaptive athletics program. This role assists with practice implementation, student-athlete development, and day-to-day team operations while contributing to a positive and inclusive student experience.
The position requires regular travel with the team and includes responsibility for transporting student-athletes and equipment to practices, competitions, and events. Work is performed under the direction of the head coach and Director, Adaptive Athletics and follows established program and departmental guidelines.
This position will require 15-19 hours a week and travel exceptions may occur for additional hours.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
