Position Function

Develop and oversee coaching, training, and conditioning of the cross country and distance event areas.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree by date of employment from an accredited institution.

Minimum Experience

At least one year of collegiate coaching experience.

Minimum Other

Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Master’s degree.

Preferred Experience

At least two years of collegiate coaching experience in cross country and distance events.

Preferred Other

Pre-Employment Screening

Requires successful completion of a Drivers License check, Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee all training and physical development within the practice environment as it relates to cross country/distance student-athletes throughout the cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field seasons. |

Help coordinate strength and conditioning sessions in conjunction with the full-time strength and conditioning coach, as it relates to cross country/distance student-athletes throughout the cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field seasons. |
